Alex Antranik Kasparian Askander, 59 of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on August 7, 2017.
Alex was born in Baghdad, Iraq on February 12, 1958. He came to the United States in 1979. He worked as a machinist at Ertel Manufacturing for over 20 years. He was a parishioner at Holy Name Catholic Church in Beech Grove, Indiana.
Alex loved to cook, study the bible, listen to music, and spend time with his animals and family. He is survived by his wife Barbara of 35 years; children: Amirah Coleman (Steven), Antranik Askander, and Mushtak Askander; siblings: Arsha Battah, Jalal Askander, Jamal Kasparian, and Eman Shamoun, and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Alex was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
Visitation is Saturday August 12, 2017 from 9am-10:45am at Holy Name Catholic Church 89 N 17th Ave, Beech Grove, IN 46107. The funeral service is at 11:00 am. Burial immediately after at Crown Hill Cemetery.
