Patrick J. Farrell

Interment: St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery ~ Whittemore, Iowa Patrick John Farrell was born June 12, 1954, in Emmetsburg, Iowa, the son of Pat and Sheila (Hand) Farrell. He graduated from Bishop Garrigan High School in 1973 and Mankato State University in 1985. Pat worked various jobs throughout the years and really enjoyed his last job working on the road construction crew for Rohlin Construction Company of Estherville. He loved watching sports and was a big Minnesota Twins, Minnesota Vikings and Iowa Hawkeye fan. Pat also liked going to car races, classic car shows, cycling and going to rock concerts. Pat died Saturday, September 19, 2009, at the Concord Care Center in Garner, Iowa, after a six month battle with brain cancer. He was 55. He is survived by sisters, Diane Farrell of Belmond, Iowa; Kathy Farrell of Mankato, Minnesota; a special aunt, Mary Feldman of Emmetsburg; aunts, Julie Hand of Virginia, May Ann Hand of Kansas; Rita Hand of Texas and many cousins.
