Donabelle Insko Kohlwes Houser died in Lincoln Nebraska on November 6, 2009. She grew up in the St. Joe area where her family farmed and raised Standardbred race horses. She graduated from Algona High School and Drake University. She taught grade school at Kossuth County Schools, Fenton Community Schools, Humboldt Community Schools, and Belmond Community Schools in Iowa prior to moving to Illinois in 1966, where she taught grade school at Loves Park, Il for 20 years.
She is survived by her daughter Loveda Mitchell, and her husband Keith, of Lincoln, Nebraska, and her son Robert Kohlwes, and his wife Carla, of Ankeny, Iowa; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers Danny Insko, and his wife Leila, of Roscoe, Illinois, Delmer Insko, and his wife Bonnie, of South Beloit, Illinois, and Delbert Insko, and his wife Patricia, of Rockton, Illinois, and many nieces and nephews.
The greatest joy of her life was the time she spent with her family.
