Kenneth J. "Kenny" Bernhard
Burial: St. John's Catholic Cemetery ~ Bancroft, Iowa Kenneth James Bernhard was born on October 7, 1962 the son of Paul and Ersel (Bierle) Bernhard. He died unexpectedly on November 6, 2009. He grew up in Bancroft, Iowa and was one of the "greatest" baseball players to graduate from St. John's High School. After many years and just as many colleges, he finally received a Bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and lived in Des Moines until his death. Ken loved to socialize, was an avid sports fan and an "exceptional" golfer. He was an ex-officio member (thanks to friends and family) of several Golf Courses.
