til his retirement in 2003. George was a Deacon at Cowan First Baptist Church where he also taught youth Sunday School for several years. His greatest loves were fishing, attending his grandchildrens sporting events and traveling with his family In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his son, Wilson, who passed away on August 27, 2000. Survivors include his wife, Ethelyn Temples of Decherd; son, Tracy (Ashley) Temples of Winchester; brother, Steve (Kay) Epperson of Franklin; father,George Neal Williams of Cowan; daughter-in-law, Deborah Hoosier of Winchester; grandchildren, Alec Neal Temples of Winchester, April Holcomb of Texas, Harper Temples of Winchester, Paeton Hill of Winchester, Brock Peterson Temples of Winchester and Leslee Morris of Sewanee; 5 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 PM Monday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 3 PM Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. L. Z. Johnson and Rev. Tim Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Watson-North Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cowan First Baptist Church Van Fund.
