James "Jim" Clifton Tomlinson

James Clifton Tomlinson, age 89, passed away Saturday at University Medical center in Lebanon. He was born in McEwen, TN to the late William Henry Tomlinson and Sally Edna Lomax Tomlinson. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Austin H. Tomlinson. Survivors include daughters, Jimmie Ann Schneirman of Atlanta, GA, Jerry Sue Phillips of Lebanon and Kathy Joan of Lebanon; sons, John Ray Tomlinson of Nolensville, Jeffrey Clay Tomlinson of Smyrna; stepson, Dennis Miller Haynes; grandchildren, Christopher Phillips (TN),Joe Schull(GA), Josh Ladds (Maryland),Knox Curtis (TN),Robert Tomlinson(TN), Katie (TN, Jeffrey H., Jeffrey J. (TN), Jason (TN), James Richard (TN), Monica Smith (NC; and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 12-2 PM Monday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home with services to follow at 2 PM.
