He was born March 29, 1931 in Carthage, Tennessee; the son of the late Charles and Mildred (Hackett) Hailey. Mr. Hailey served his country in the US Army. He was the owner and operator of Hibbett-Hailey Funeral Home and Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Mr. Hailey was preceded in death by his brothers, J.C. Hailey and Harry Hackett. Surviving are daughters, Geneil Hailey Dillehay of Difficult, TN, Cheryl Hailey of Old Hickory, TN and Phelissa Hailey of Old Hickory, TN, sister, Alyne Hailey Miller of Nashville, TN; and grandchildren, Tonya Pewitt and Shannon Hailey. Funeral service to be conducted Oct. 27, 2012 at 10am at Hibbitt & Hailey Funeral Home with Dwayne Hicks officiating. Interment to follow in Hermitage Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be Fri. 4-8pm at Hibbitt & Hailey FH, 429 Donelson Pk, Nashville.
