He was born Monday, February 8, 1926 in Cowan; the son of the late Floyd C. Hartman, Sr. and Elva Lena Brown Hartman. He was employed by Marquette Cement Plant and worked as plant manager. He served in the US Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. Surviving is his wife, Katherine Besheres Hartman, son, Steve (Debbie) Hartman of Cowan, TN, daughter, Sherry Brandon-Poss of Cowan, TN, grandsons, Jason (Jolene) Brandon, Richard (Lauren) Hartman and Danny Hartman, and great-grandchildren, Clayanna and David Brandon, special cousin, Leonard Brown, several cousins and many friends. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Hancock officiating. Interment will be in Cowan Montgomery Cemetery, Cowan, TN.
