James "Greasy" Henderson

He was born Thursday, September 27, 1934 in Cowan; the son of the late Jesse R. and Maude Leslie (Tucker) Henderson. He served in the Army. He was a Veteran of Korea. He was the regional supervisor for Avco Finance Company for 25 years and after retirement spent time working with Lynch and Lynch Reality, Dominion Bank, Golden Heights Senior Citizens Center, was very active in civic organizations, was a past-member of the Kiwanis Club and served as past president of the Franklin County Country Club, Mr. Henderson was also a member of the Elk River Beekeeper Club of Franklin Co. In addition to his parents, Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Hulin Henderson.
