Grady Williams

Grady Williams, age 91 of Decherd, Tennessee died on Friday, February 5, 2010, at Willows at Winchester. He was born Thursday, November 21, 1918 in Decherd; the son of the late Frank and Dovie Champion Williams. He was a Veteran of World War II, serving his country in the US Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Williams, brothers, John Kelly Williams and Allen Lent Williams, his son, Timothy Williams, and grandson, Chris Williams. Surviving are sons, Clinton (Ellen) Williams of Winchester, TN, Clayton (Karen) Williams of Decherd, TN and Larry (Rachel) Williams of Decherd, TN, daughters, Sandra (Bobby) Lee of Decherd, TN, Rebecca (Floyd) Sherman of Cowan, TN and Shirley (Jack) Lambert of Tullahoma, TN, brothers, Neal Williams of Cowan, TN and Patrick Williams of Winchester, TN, sister, Thelona Bright of Rossville, GA., as well as seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Sunday at Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Jack Lambert officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Garner Cemetery, Decherd, TN.
