Evelyn Joann Clark, age 74 of Monroe, died Sunday, February 06, 2011, at Hospice of Pella - Comfort House. Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the Monroe Presbyterian Church. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February, 8, 2011, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the church. The family will greet friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be directed to the Monroe Emergency Unit or Hospice of Pella - Comfort House and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The daughter of Floyd and Mary (Shore) Neff, Joann was born on November 25, 1936, in Knoxville, Iowa. Joann graduated from Monroe Community Schools. On February 14, 1953, she was united in marriage to David V. Clark at the Presbyterian Church in Monroe. Joann worked as a cook at the PCM High School for 26 years. She was a member of the Monroe Presbyterian Church and Community Church of Christ. Also surviving are her brothers, Francis (Violet) Neff, Dwight (Karen) Neff, Kenneth (Dawn) Neff and Cecil (Judy) Neff all of Monroe and a sister in law, Wanda Burkett of Grinnell. Preceding Joann in death were her parents, an infant daughter, Brenda, and a brother, Robert.
