Audrey J. Cortner

Audrey J. Cortner, age 97 of Estill Springs, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Life Care Center of Tullahoma. She was born on March 13, 1919 in Moore County to the late Garvin and Stella Burt Bennett. Audrey attended Chestnut Ridge Baptist Church, and she enjoyed sewing and cooking. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Cortner; brothers, Gordon Bennett and Holt Bennett; and sisters, Geneva Prince and Hudie Hill. Audrey is survived by her sister, Martha (Van) Kreh of Estill Springs; brother-in-law, John Hill of Tullahoma; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-8 PM at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with John Hill officiating.
