Geraldine Hudson Stovall

Geraldine Hudson Stovall, age 90 of Huntland, passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at her residence. She was born on October 11, 1926 in Huntsville, AL to the late J. B. Hudson and Monie Buntley Hudson. A member of Huntland 1st United Methodist Church, she loved helping people, cooking, taking care of her family and was devoted to her church family. When asked to help, she never told anyone no. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Julian Ancel Stovall, Sr.; son, Ricky Ancel Stovall and 13 siblings. Survivors include daughter, Peggyan Stovall of Bel Air, MD; sons, Julian A. Stovall, Jr. (Lydia) of Glen Allen, VA and Ken Stovall (June) of Charleston, SC; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and nephew, Brad Beck of Atlanta, GA. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Memorial services will be 11 am Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at Huntland 1st United Methodist Church with Rev.
