Daniel B. Cooley, age 88 of Tullahoma, passed away on August 13, 2017 at NHC Healthcare. A lifelong resident of Coffee County, he was born on February 2, 1929 in Manchester to the late Bill and Cora Cooley. Mr. Cooley served in the United States Army before being employed by AEDC for 26 years in cell testing as an electrician. He was of the Methodist Faith and loved to read. In his spare time, he enjoyed flying his own plane, fishing, boating, photography, and lawn mower repair. Mr. Cooley will be remembered for his love of his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Edna Cooley of Tullahoma; sons, Tim (Brenda) Cooley of Manchester, and Charles (Linda) Cooley of Manchester; daughters, Lynn Cooley of Mt. Juliet, and Cindy (Tommy) Levi of Tullahoma; grandchildren, Jeremy (Kim) Cooley, Eric Cooley, Chad (Bonnie) Levi, and Cindy (Phil) Jackson; great-grandchildren, Robbie Cooley, Tyran Cooley, Anakin Cooley, Lillie Cooley, and Carter Levi; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
