erican Legion. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. For thirteen years, Jim and his family went on fishing vacations to Fish Trap Lake in Motley, MN. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He loved to help his neighbors and spend time outdoors. Jim was an avid reader; reading magazines, newspapers and books cover to cover.
Jim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Maxine of Algona; daughters, Colleen (Jay) Johnson of Faribault, MN and Paula (Troy) Nichols of Syracuse, NE; five grandchildren, Allison, Colton, and Jaydon Nichols and Emma and Sam Johnson and a brother, Harlan (Helen) Haas of Algona. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roland and Gerald Haas and twin sisters in infancy.
