Irven L. Ball was born May 25, 1933 in Webster City. He was raised and attended schools in the Webster City/Duncombe area. He served in the United States ARMY from December of 1953 through November of 1955. On July 7, 1956 he was united in marriage to Pauline Miklo at St. Matthews in Clare. The couple established their home in Duncombe. They then moved southwest of Humboldt. They farmed in the Clare and Duncombe area until 1964. Irven then worked for New Coop for 20 years and then 13 years for Huber; until retiring from there in 1995. For the past 19 years, he was employed with R & J Materials. He was a member of Holy Trinity Parish and the Knights of Columbus. Irven will be remembered as a kind man with a gentle spirit.
Memorials may be left to Holy Trinity Parish and Saint Edmond Catholic Schools.
