Concepción N Linares Valencia, 73, of Los Angeles, passed away on Thursday, October 12, 2017 in California. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 from 9-11:00 A.M. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. Graveside Services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Muscatine Memorial Park Cemetery. Concepción was born on March 26, 1944 in Santa Ana El Salvador, the son of Concepción Linares and Dorotea Valencia. He was united in marriage to María De Jesus Marroquin in El Salvador in 2000. He enjoyed fishing and playing soccer; he was a fan of the Barcelona Soccer Club. Concepción all time love was the time spent with his eight grandkids. He had a great relationship with his oldest grandchild, Joselyn who motivated him to stop smoking. She was always joking with him and changing his name to many different names always making him laugh and bringing a smile to his face.

Concepción was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Alberto Valencia, Marcos Valencia, Graciela Linares and Luisa Lima Linares.
