Merlin "Buzz" F. Henkel

MIDDLETON - M. "Buzz" Henkel, DDS. Age 81, passed away on Tuesday October 24, 2017 at Agrace HospiceCare after falling at Heritage Memory Care and breaking his hip. Buzz was born on Feb 6, 1936 at home because of a brutal storm that made it impossible for the doctor to reach the hospital or their home. Buzz was a U.S. Air Force Veteran and a 1959 graduate of Marquette University Dental School. He practiced in Madison for many years. He married Karen Learman in 1959, and they were married for fifty eight years. Buzz is survived by his wife Karen, son Christopher (Becky), brother-in-law Jeff Learman of Austin, TX, and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, in laws, a sister, and brother-in-law. No services are planned at this time.
