together they had four children. Donald was employed at Avco New Idea for two years and then with Hormel Packing Company for 36 years before retiring in 1996.
Donald is survived by his children, Loretta Weinzetl, Fort Dodge, and her children, Adam and Josi Pahl; Mike (Kelly) Weinzetl, Webster City; and their children Jake (Marsha) and Sarah; Mark (Kim) Weinzetl, Otho, and their children Shawna (Scott) Schuler, Brandi (Keaton) Lenning, and Marcy Weinzetl; and Denise (Steve) Pierce, Ankeny, and their children, Lindsey (Mike) Mitchell, Melissa (Dale) Higgins, and Erica and Olivia Pierce; nine great grandchildren and a brother Ed (Dorothy) Weinzetl, Twin Lakes. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bob and Jack.
Donald was a member of UFCW Local P31, enjoyed golf, woodworking and reading. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed solving all kinds of different game puzzles.
