She enjoyed bowling in league, sewing, crocheting and doing seamstress work, cooking, gardening, gambling and fishing "up at the cabin". She was always the first one to catch a fish. She was known for her kind heart and generosity. Darlis is survived by her husband, Billy Croce of Maquoketa, IA; children, Khristy (Jay) Rollinger of Bettendorf, IA, and William John Croce of Maquoketa, IA; a brother, Dennis (Liz) Kilburg of Otter Creek, IA; 4 grandchildren, Sarah, Amy, Lucas and Blake; sisters-in-law, Maureen Kilburg of Maquoketa, IA, Alice Kilburg of Bellevue, IA, Monna Cleary of Lost Nation, IA, Donna Camp of Guntersville, AL, Maxine Flock of Maquoketa, IA, Janis (Phil) Seay of Maquoketa, IA and Wendy (Bill) Hainstock of Maquoketa, IA; a brother-in-Law, Leo "Butch" Croce of Toronto, IA; 2 aunts; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Keith A. Croce on April 12, 2005, and 3 brothers, Lorin, Mahlon and Carl.
