a lifelong member of the Elks Lodge in Keokuk and was also a member of New Testament Christian Church in Keokuk. He enjoyed golfing, playing pool and watching his favorite baseball team, the Chicago Cubs. He was a talented woodworker and made fireplace mantels and shelves for family and friends. He also enjoyed oil painting. He loved to travel and ride his motorcycle as often as he could. He especially loved spending time with his family and going on roller coaster rides with his kids. He was simply the most kind and humble man, who will be so missed by his family and friends. In his own words, "I've been blessed with an incredible amount of people who I've called friends throughout my life". A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Monday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Pastor John Simpson officiating.
