Mable M. Webb, 89, of Burlington, died at 4:50 AM Saturday, October 28, 2017, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born May 13, 1928, in Midland, MI, she was the daughter of Verne and Cora Bell Heare VanStienburg. She married Edward D. Webb in Burlington. He later passed on October 15, 2010.
Mable worked for Riley Brothers from 1964 to 1977. She also worked for Auto Vending for five years.
She was a graduate of Burlington High School.
She enjoyed crocheting, camping, puzzle books, and her fur babies. She was a member of Hoot Owls camping club and FMCA.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharon K. (Raymond) Barnes of Denmark, and Sarah J. (Jeremy) Shoemaker of La Harpe, IL; two sons, Dan D. (Rebecca) Webb, and Edward D. Webb, Jr. both of Burlington, IA; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, George H. VanStienburg of Lampasses, TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Rose Hill and Clara Swailes.
