Betty loved the holidays, getting together with all the kids, grandkids, and great grandkids. Thanksgiving and Christmas were two of her favorite holidays. She loved getting up to date on all the great-grandchildren and looked forward to the birth of three more great grandkids.
She was a member of Epiphany Parish, Mason City.
Betty is greatly loved by her whole family and will be forever missed.
Betty is survived by her husband, Virgil Roth, Mason City; three children, Mark (Ranee) Roth, Laramie, WY., Lisa (Tad) Mueller, Fort Atkinson, IA., and Doug (Teresa) Roth, Mason City; twelve grandchildren, Heather (Jeremiah) Meizis, Amanda (Kevin) Hill, Andrew (Kelly) Roth, Cassie Dow, Katie Roth, Matthew (Michelle) Hesley, Ryan (Emily) Hesley, Alyssa (Lorne) Hovden, Luke Mueller, Alicia (Matthew) Linderman, Nicole Roth and Kaleb Roth; ten great grandchildren, Brody Dow, Vivian Meizis, Lincoln Hill, Jacey and Jalynn Goodale, Madelynn and Nash Hesley, Brenden Hovden, and Addisyn and Brayden Linderman; brother, Don (Sharon) Calkins, Loveland, Co., sister, Dorothy Ritchart, Cedar Rapids, IA.; brother in-law, Arthur Johnson Sterling, Ill., and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lamonte and Agnes Calkins; two sisters, Darlene Johnson, Carol Hoyt; two brothers in-law, Charles Ritchart, and John Hoyt.
