Dorothy M. Visger

Age 88, died peacefully on Wedneday August 16, 2006. Preceded in death by husband, Leslie; son, Dennis; and many other family members. Survived by daughter, Linda of Cedar, MN; nephews, Kenny (Terry) Visger, Gary Paul and daughter Rachel; and many other nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy was born in Minneapolis, MN but spent most of her life in New Albin, IA. She later moved close to her daughter residing in both Cambridge and Forest Lake, MN. Dorothy enjoyed playing the piano and volunteering in her church, fishing with her husband on the Mississippi River, and playing bridge with her friends. A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2006 at Grace United Methodist Church, New Albin, Iowa with Pastor Keith Putney officiating.   Interment services will take place in the New Albin Cemetery, New Albin, Iowa.[more]
