Kevin was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed guns and hunting for deer, wild hogs, and prairie dogs. He loved side by side poker runs, attending truck pulls and Harley Davidson motorcycles. His work was important to him and he took great pride working as a lineman. Kevin loved to cook and smoked meats for all to enjoy. He was an amazing person that people adored, had an infectious laugh and always had a smile on his face. He knew no stranger, loved to pull pranks and make people smile and laugh. Kevin put everyone before himself and just wanted them to be happy. Kids would flock to him and many called him "Uncle Kevin". He was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle, cousin, and a great friend to all who knew him. Kevin passed away from pancreatic cancer at his home on November 1, 2017 at the age of 52 years, 9 months, and 9 days. He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; father Sheldon Williams; and nephew Taylor Williams. Kevin is survived by his wife Amy Williams and her children, Christopher, Chelsea and Caleb Count, of Silver City; mother Delores Williams of Silver City; brother Roger Williams and wife Georganne of Glenwood; sister Nancy Petit and husband Tom of Durango, CO; and by many special relatives and a host of friends.
