Clifton became a loving stepfather to Christine's; daughter Diana Miga (Brian), son Larry Harpman and Mindy Pheiffer. He was known as "Grandpa" to Jesse, Jamie, Troy, and Angeline, and two great grandchildren Jakob and Thedrick. Clifton helped and assisted them, and, likewise, they cared for him. He was also a loving guardian of Amber Baileyl. Butch, his dog, was his faithful companion. From 1982 to 1986, Clifton represented the Loveland area as its State Representative. He also served at the Lutheran Church on evangelism committees and councils. His faith and the stewardship his pastors gave him the strength. May the emptiness we feel now become joy tomorrow. Playing golf with friends who meant the world to Clifton kept him healthy and made him happy. Two grandsons, Joshua (JinXuan) Bryan and Peter (Sara) Bryan, and two great granddaughters, Emma and Bridget, who saw Clifton in October to celebrate Joshua's wedding, which was greatly anticipated, bringing Clifton smiles and laughter. Clifton is survived by four of his six siblings; Veda (Wayne) Viers of Kirkwood, MO, Kay (Leonard) Burg of Livingston, MT, Sandra (Lyle) of Philomath, OR and Sherrill (Bob) Cobean of Longmont, CO.
