Marcella Maria Lara
February 7th, 1947 To November 1st, 2017
Marci was born on February 7, 1947 in Pueblo, Colorado to Louis and Gracie (Lucero) Blea. She was the oldest of 8 siblings. At 18, in 1965 she married David Lara. During their 40 years of marriage Marci gave birth to their 5 daughters. She was a wonderful mother and devoted wife. She was known for her loving kindness, forgiveness and sweet personality.
On April 28th, 1975 she dedicated her life to Jehovah and was baptized. She was a spiritual woman and always set an example of keeping Jehovah first in her life. She loved teaching others about Jehovah, and served as an auxiliary pioneer when she could. Marci looked forward to living on a Paradise earth and Jehovah's promise to not have pain, sickness or death anymore. She was faithful to the end refusing a blood transfusion knowing that Jehovah, her God, viewed blood as being sacred. When Marci passed, she was a member of the Sunset Park congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Marci passed away on November 1, 2017 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO. She was 70 years old.[more]
Marci is survived by her daughters, Suzanne, Linda (Rick), April (Dave), Jarah (Tim) and Janel (Greg). She is also survived by her siblings Senaida, Robert, Louis, Tom, Larry, half-sister Katrina, step sister Chris and step mother Della. Plus she is survived by her grandchildren, Arick, Rikki (Tyler), Darick, Thaddeaus, Jackie (Shance), Marie, Tiah, Tyler, Kiera, Willow and Jacob. In addition she is survived by her great grandchildren, Crosby, Laya and 3 more on the way. She was predeceased by her father, mother and her brothers Pete and Joe.
Marci was an Artist, she loved to paint, draw, sew, and crochet.
She collected elephants, animal figurines, jewelry, and shoes. Marci was cherished by her family and she will be missed. Her family is heartbroken but are comforted by Jehovah, knowing they will see her again when she is resurrected.
