Kenneth E. Jenson, 89, of Waverly, formerly of Waterloo, died Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Bartels Retirement Community in Waverly. Kenneth was born December 27, 1927 in Dunkerton, son of Ted M. and Martha B. (Hein) Jenson. He graduated from Waterloo East High School in 1945. Kenneth was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church in Bennington Township. He married Beverly Cate Place on June 15, 1949 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Waterloo; she preceded him in death on March 26, 2012. Kenneth worked for John Deere Co. as a radial drill operator for 28 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and the UAW Local 838. He and his wife spent many happy years at Sandas Beach on East Battle Lake in Henning, MN. He is survived by: a daughter, Cynthia (Don Hansen) White of La Porte City; a son, Duane (Diane) Jenson of New York Mills, MN; a grandson, Marc (Carrie) White of Cedar Falls; a granddaughter, Emily (Glenn Reimer) White of Tinley Park, IL; two great-grandsons: Noah William and Ethan John White; and a brother, Robert "Bob" (Jodyne) Jenson of Lincoln City, OR.
