Tillie was one of the first original inductees to the Harlingen Significant contributors to the Harlingen community, and her relentless participation in local and state political elections and promoting Hispanic equalities.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, November 8th, at 7 pm at Rudy Garza Funeral Home, with viewing from 1pm to 9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial to be held at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Harlingen at 10 am on Thursday, November 9th with the Reverend Larry J. Klein as celebrant. Entombment will follow at Mont Meta Memorial Park Mausoleum in San Benito.
