Larry D. Cone, 61, of Coal Valley, IL passed away on November 5, 2017 at Genesis East, Davenport, IA. Funeral services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, November 11, 2017 in the Runge Mortuary Chapel. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Memorial may be made to Rock Island County Animal Shelter. Larry was born on February 19, 1956 in Davenport, IA to William and Cledra (Peterson) Cone. He is a 1974 graduate of Moline High School. After high school he went on to work for IH Harvester Works as a welder.
Larry was an animal lover and enjoyed caring for animals. He enjoyed baseball games and attending concerts. He will be dearly missed by his friends and family.
Larry is survived by his siblings: Carrel Sagon, Dan (Paula) Cone, Brent Cone, Cheryl Cone and Angela Corso; eight nieces and nephews; seven great nieces and nephews and his best friend, Max his Maltese.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
