th in January of 2014. She worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company as an Operator and retired as a Sales Representative in the Yellow Pages department. She has been described as a hardworking lady who took great pride in caring for her husband and family. LeVaughn echoed "old school" thoughts and way of living in all that she did. She had a strong faith and at the time of her death was reading her Bible for the fourth time. She witnessed to others as often as she was given the opportunity to do so. In her later years, she became a "people pleaser", while maintaining her independent streak at the same time. You always knew where you stood with LeVaughn. Her sweet spirit will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eula Pearl Ruff Arnold; father, Ferdenan Victoria Bruce; husband, Charles Thomas Wilkins, Jr.; and five siblings, Lovie, Willie, Vivian, Lottie and Byron.
Survivors include her daughters, Marie Ann Wilkins, Vicki Lea Wilkins Herzog and her husband, Ronnie, and Jan Kay Wilkins Holley; grandchildren, Angela Kober, Christian Turbeville, Wendy Clark, and Lara Holley; great grandchildren, Lauren Jordan, Wyatt Jordan, Alex Clark, and Charlissa Clark; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
