American Legion Post 18. He was always quick with a smile and a friendly helping hand.
He loved the outdoors and the family thrived on skiing, camping, fishing, and hunting trips. Having ridden motorcycles since the age of fourteen, a cruise on his Harley was still in order. Building and expanding his model N railroad and learning to play bluegrass music on his 12-string banjo were favorite pastimes as was fly-fishing on the Thompson River and North Park Lakes. As a member of Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies, he always had an old golden retriever or two by his side.
Larry is survived by his wife, Linda Jack of Greeley; three sons, Glenn Jack (partner Kelly Saxton and son Gunnar) of Greeley, Clint Jack of Pompano Beach, Florida, and Tom Jack (Raquel) of Gunnison.
He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson, Hayden Jack, and sister, Donna Lee Crabtree.
Interment ceremonies will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Greeley, at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Allnutt Funeral Service, 702 13th Street. A reception will follow.
