een a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a regular attendee of Christ United Methodist Church in Greendale, WI and Edgerton UMC. For the last year she has resided with her sister Mandy in Edgerton awaiting an opportunity for a heart transplant. She received her gift of a new heart on September 27, 2017. Following her transplant she suffered failure of several vital organs and peacefully answered the call of her Lord and Savior on November 11, 2017, with loving family by her side. Survivors: mother, Sue Acre (John Lawler); father, Jim (Rose) Acre; sisters Melissa Wagner and Mandy (Nate) Albertie; grandmothers Aileen Acre and Gladys Mazerek, countless aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Preceded in death by Grandmother Janet (Shaffer) Miller; grandfathers Charles Shaffer, Ralph Acre and Claude Mazerek. Celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Avenue, Madison, Wisconsin.
