otion as a wife and mother then later as a grandmother and great grandmother. She had a heart of gold who loved her family and friends with all her heart. She is survived by her children, Jane (Mike) McIntyre, of Poplar, Grove, IL, Kathy Heiney, of Colorado Springs, Jack (Mary) Schumacher, of Dubuque, Warren "Bin" Schumacher, of Dubuque, Margie Schumacher, Breckenridge, CO. Grandchildren, Scott ( Joetta) Haas, Sarah (Nick) Ryan, Athena Schumacher, Rebecca Schumacher, and Wynter Schumacher along with 9 great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mildred Zugenbuehler, and Carol Pins of Dubuque. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband John; siblings Doc Hemmer, Anna Mae Freese, and Delores Manning; 2 granddaughters Jamie Heiney-Brane and Caitlin Francomb, and great grandson Elliott Ryan. The family wishes to thank the great staff at Ennoble Manor and to Dr. Chadwick Nachtman for all their wonderful care they gave to Ruth.
