er's footsteps, she was known for her homemade buns and cinnamon rolls for family. She, and her siblings always had a camera with them. She was known for constantly taking pictures. She enjoyed taking trips to Leech Lake with her siblings, which included fishing and researching genealogy. Harriet and Richard were antique collectors. They were in charge of the Graettinger Labor Day Parade for over 30 years. They enjoyed going to their Silveridge Home in Mesa, AZ for the winter for nearly 30 years. She would spend time hiking, making dolls and playing cards with friends. Harriet was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Graettinger and Catholic Daughters of America for over 55 years. On Tuesday, November 14, 2017, Harriet passed away at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home in Estherville. Left to cherish her memory are her children: daughter, Jackie Holm (Tim) of Cable, WI and his two children: Lisa Natywa (Jeff) and Michelle Holm; three sons: Paul Duhn of Graettinger and his daughter, Karen Kuper (fiancé, Trinity) and her two children: Ali and Abby, Bruce Duhn of Sioux Rapids, Brad Duhn of Graettinger (special friend, Michele); two brothers: Edmund Herke of Emmetsburg, Larry Herke (Sheila) of Mankato, MN; sister, MaryLane Cunningham of Pontiac, IL; brothers-in-law: George Tonderum of Emmetsburg and Ray Duhn (Evonne) of Spirit Lake; sister-in-law, Betty Kane (Jim) of San Jose, CA; She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Richard; her parents; sister, Shirley Tonderum; baby brother, Dwain Herke; sister-in-law, Fern Herke; brother-in-law Richard Cunningham and her niece, Diane Alesch.
