Evelyn May Muccio, 90, a nine year resident of De Peyster, NY, formally of Sun City Center, Florida and Poughkeepsie, NY, died November 13, 2017 peacefully at her daughter and son-in-law's farm.
Born August 13, 1927 in Cornwall-on-the-Hudson, NY to Eugene and Mabel Ferguson Secore.
She had been quoted saying, "The day I married John Muccio, I started to live", married on January 20, 1946 in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Diana Terpening and her husband John of Ocala, Florida; Dominica Muccio of Cornwall, NY; her son Anthony Muccio of Staatsburg, NY; and daughter Deborah Hicks and her husband Brian of De Peyster, NY; her grandchildren: Traci Faucher, Nicole Muccio, Danielle Muccio, Randy Muccio, Kyle Hicks, Aaron Hicks, Brandon Hicks and Ashley Duffy, great grandchildren; Amanda Faucher, Jacob Terpening, Alexis Howard, Mackenzie Duffy, Ronan Hicks and Fiona Hicks.
She was predeceased by her husband of 61 years in 2007, her beloved grandson John Terpening, her brothers Rev. Thomas Secore and Elmer Secore.
