William "Cody" Myers

William "Cody" Myers, 16, of Montrose, Iowa, died Wednesday, June 05, 2002. William "Cody" Myers was born on July 3, 1985 in Keokuk, Iowa. He was the son of Kyle "Kip" Myers and Kim Gullick Myers. He was a lifelong resident of the Keokuk-Montrose area and would have been a junior at Central Lee High School in the fall of 2002. At Central Lee, he was an honor student and was a member of the Science Club, Band, Chorus & Show Choir, Golf Team, Football, and the Quiz Bowl team. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Keokuk. Keokuk and Lois Butler of East Peoria, Illinois. He was preceded in death by maternal great-grandparents and paternal great-grandfathers. Services were Saturday, June 8, 2002 at Trinity United Methodist Church in Keokuk with Reverend Paul Pennington officiating. Burial was in Sandusky Cemetery north of Keokuk. Memorial may be made to the Central Lee Science Club.
