Delores A. "Dory" Irwin, 64, of Lost Nation, Iowa, passed away on Monday morning, November 20, 2017, at her home in rural Lost Nation, Iowa. Friends and family may gather for "One Last Party"® in remembrance of "Dory" on Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 2 to 4 P.M. in "The Bistro" at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, Iowa. Cremation rites have been accorded. Delores Ann Budde was born on February 17, 1953 in Jackson County, Iowa, to Eldon and Dula (Ziemet) Budde. She grew up in Preston and was a graduate of Preston High School. She married David Irwin on July 30, 1990 in Maquoketa, Iowa. Dory was successful in her leadership roles throughout her careers. She worked at Rockwell Collins in Bellevue for several years, then became the District Manager for IOCO Speedy Shops, and finally she was the Produce Manager for Dick's Supermarket. Dory was a master seamstress and enjoyed refinishing and reupholstering antique furniture. She also enjoyed flower and plant gardening.
