John "Jack" Fox

John "Jack" Fox, Sr., 67, of Wayland, Missouri, died Monday, October 28, 2002 at 1:39 P.M. at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa. Jack Fox was born on February 7, 1935 in Alexandria, Missouri. He was the son of Floyd and Erma Goldman Fox. He married Sally Ann Maynard on April 23, 1955 in Deadwood, South Dakota. She survives. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He had been employed for thirty-four years for Pepsi-Cola Memphis Bottling Company, Keokuk division until his retirement in 1998. He was a member of the Alexandria Gun Club and was serving as President at the time of his death. He was a board member of the Clark County Ambulance Board and served on the rescue squad for Clark County. He was past president of Wayland Senior Housing. He was a former member of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church. , Douglas Maynard and his wife, Anita, Mobridge, South Dakota; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters-in-law, Betty Fox of Revere, Missouri and Charlotte Fox of Wayland; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Douglas Wayne Fox and John D. Fox, Jr.; two brothers, David and Sid Fox; and two sisters, Viola Ward and Helen Coppler. Services were Thursday, October 31, 2002 at the Wayland Baptist Church in Wayland, Missouri with Reverend Dan Deatrick officiating. Burial was in Sand Cemetery in St. Francisville, Missouri with military rites.
