Michelle Lea Washburn

Michelle Lea Washburn, 34, of Maumelle, Arkansas, died Monday, October 28, 2002, at her home. She was born December 3, 1967, in Alliance, Nebraska, the daughter of Beryl and Bonnie Walker Brunsch and was raised by her stepfather and mother, Don and Bonnie Reed. In 1986, she graduated from St. Agnes Acadamy in Alliance, Nebraska. After graduating, she went to Travel Trade Schoolin Littleton, Colorado. She then worked in the airline industry and was employed by Continental Airlines for eight years. She married Michael Washburn on November 18, 1995 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He survives. She is survived by her husband, Michael Washburn of Maumelle, Arkansas; stepdaughter, Kristin McBride of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her parents, Don and Bonnie Reed of Alliance Nebraska and Beryl Brunsch of South Dakota; a brother, James Reed of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Lori Eggleston of Friend, Nebraska; grandparents, Hobert and Kathleen Gilles of Whitewood, South Dakota; two aunts, Peggy David and her husband, James, of Sheridan, Wyoming and Rita Blom of Belvidere, South Dakota; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don & Pearl Washburn of Keokuk, Iowa; sister-in-law, Debra McPherson and her husband, Mike, of...[more]

McPherson of Wichita, Kansas; and Scott and Amy McPherson of Carthage, Missouri. She was preceded in death by grandparents. Memorial services were held Monday, November 4, 2002, at United Presbyterian Church in Keokuk, Iowa, with Rev. Brian Rihner officiating. Inurnment followed in Keokuk National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Scholarship Fund of United Presbyterian Church in Keokuk, Iowa.
