Ishmael C. Crowe was born on June 27, 1935 in South Carrollton, Kentucky to the late Eddie and Audrey Timberlake. He later moved to Indianapolis, Indiana when he was twelve years old. Ishmael attended Crispus Attucks High School and Ivy Tech Community College.
Ishmael met and married Norma J. Crowe and enjoyed 36 years of marriage. He was an Milbright and retired from General Motors Truck and Bus. Ishmael served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean conflict.
Ishmael enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and simply being with family and friends, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ishmael is preceded in death by his parents and wife Norma J. He leaves to cherish his memories children; Carole Miller, Patricia Koger, Terry Rouse, Andrew Dixon Jr.,(fiancé Cynthia Harris), grandchildren; Traci Rodney, Carla Crowe, Lashawnda Crowe Storm, Kevin Koger, Carl Koger Jr., Qiana McClelland, Terry Joe Rouse Jr., Teria Wilson, twelve great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
