Edward L. Guymon, 56, of Keokuk, died Tuesday, October 21, 2003 in Keokuk, Iowa.
Edward Guymon was born on March 17, 1947 in Keokuk. He was the son of Henry and Gladys Connor Guymon. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict and was a disabled American Veteran. He liked to fish and enjoyed helping people. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.
Survivors include two sons, Edward T. Guymon and James Guymon both of Florida; one daughter, Margaret Moe of Mississippi; three sisters, Mary Whitledge and her husband, Walter, of Keokuk, Iowa, Mary Jefferson of Keokuk, Iowa, and Alice Kramer of Reno, Nevada; one half-sister, Sandra Jones, of Keokuk, Iowa; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, John.
Services were Monday, October 27, 2003 at DeJong's Funeral Home in Keokuk with Reverend Larry Post officiating. Burial was in Keokuk National Cemetery with military rites.
