Pearl McKay

Pearl McKay, 82, of Keokuk, died Friday, December 12, 2003 at 12:30 A.M. at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa. Pearl McKay was born on April 2, 1921 in Dumas, Missouri. She was the daughter of Samuel and Lottie Marmian Kinkeade. She married Harold "Joe" McKay on October 27, 1951 in Keokuk. He preceded her in death on July 7, 1978. She graduated from Keokuk Senior High in 1939. She enjoyed life. Survivors include one sister, Norma Reed and her husband, B.N. "Red", of Keokuk; one brother, Hubert Kinkeade, of Keokuk; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; three brothers; and one sister. Funeral services were Tuesday, December 16, 2003 at DeJong's Funeral Home in Keokuk with Deacon William Cosgrove officiating. Burial was in Keokuk National Cemetery.
