president and spearheading the building of the Radford Road store, as well as being a lifelong member of Nativity Parish, serving on the parish council. He was also active with the Knights of Columbus Council 510, the Eagles Club, the Elks Club, the Moose Lodge, and was president of the Full Gospel Business Men's.He is survived by his six children, Lisa (Dick) Mullen, Urbandale, Iowa, Leslie Weddell, Eden Prairie, MN, Linda (Roger) Anderson, Milan, IL, Luana (Steve) Stoltenberg, of Davenport, Iowa, Larry (Cindy) Hoppman, of Dubuque, and Lynette (Mark Simmons) Heims, of Dubuque. Thirteen grandchildren, Rachel, Elise, and Jeremy Mullen, Nathan and Yenae Anderson, Zac Stoltenberg, Stacie, Simon, and Shannon Hoppman, Emilee, Caleb, Elleyna, and Annika Heims. Five great grandchildren; three step children, Sue (Herb) Hanson, John (Barb) Steger, and Mary Beth (Tim) Wood. Three step grandchildren, Jay Brestrup, Nickole O'Connor, and Brandon Wood along with six step great grandchildren. His sister Mary Ann Tuegel, of Rockford, IL and one brother John (Sheri Tomkins) Hoppman, of Fairplay, WI and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Jeannette, and second wife Calista. A daughter in infancy; his brothers Charlie, James, Tom, Lloyd and two brothers in infancy.Memorials may be given to St. Vincent de Paul Society.
