Helen Wilson

Helen Lucille Stark-Wilson, 75, of Keokuk, died surrounded by her family at 7:15 PM Wednesday, December 31, 2003, at Donnellson Health Center in Donnellson, Iowa. She was born July 25, 1928 in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Pearl Fry Stark. Helen had been employed at the Chuck Wagon Café for 21 years, retiring in 1984. She was a member of New Testament Christian Church. She was an avid reader and a movie buff. Helen is survived by two daughters, Dee Rippenkroeger of Keokuk and Karen Reinig of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa; a son, Sonny Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; four grandchildren, Stacie McKay and her husband, Rob, of Keokuk, Jason Rippenkroeger and his wife, Aimee, of Keokuk, Jenny Rodriguez of Olathe, Kansas and Jane Wilson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Edith Land of Muscatine, Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents and by several brothers and sisters. Graveside services were held Monday, January 5, 2003, at Sunset Memorial Park with Brother Bill Hauser officiating.
