Paul Hubert Riley, 92, of Brighton, passed away on November 28, 2017. He was born on July 16, 1925 in Eureka, Kansas to Hubert H. and Lela E. (Tubbs) Riley. Paul was a graduate of Hamilton High School in Hamilton, Kansas. On June 1, 1983 in Aurora, Colorado, Paul married Sharyl Parks.
Paul worked for Phillips Pipeline from 1946 to 1986 in numerous capacities, moving to Brighton in 1995. Paul loved to fish Colorado's high lakes. He was a WWII Veteran in the US Navy - USS Sangamon receiving the Victory Medal, American Campaign Medal and the Atlantic Pacific Campaign Medal. Paul was a member of the Fidelity Masonic Lodge #106 while in Eureka, Kansas. He loved working in his yard and reading historical novels.
Survivors include his wife, Sharyl; daughter, Audra Riley of Colorado Springs; sisters, Janice Robinholt of Lititz, PA, Donna Becker of El Dorado, KS; brothers, Dave Riley of Bandera, TX and Claude Riley of Jourdanton, TX.
