Beverly Loewenstein

Beverly Ann Loewenstein, 75, of Keokuk, died at 8:30 AM Saturday, May 14, 2005 at River Hills In Keokuk. Beverly was born May 8, 1930, in Keokuk, Iowa, the daughter of Alphred D. and Mary Josephine Smith Howard. She had been married to Robert Conn and later to William McAdams. She Hubert H. "Lou" Loewenstein on January 20, 1962 in Hamilton, Illinois. He preceded her in death. She lived in Keokuk most of her life and was employed in housekeeping at Keokuk Area Hospital for 25 years, retiring in 1985. She was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion, and was a longtime member of Keokuk Business and Professional Women. She is survived by four children, April S. Hagmeier of Chester, Illinois, Robert H. "Rob" Loewenstein and his wife, Denise, of St. Charles, Missouri, Linda Valencia and her husband, Tony, of Highland, California and Larry Loewenstein and his wife, Sandy, of Indio, California; nine grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
