r /> smarts of a kid from Queens. He loved being part of a team, whether that be master swimmers,
other psychologists, or work groups that included the 980 team, nursing staff, social workers, and health care professionals. And he also loved traveling with family and friends in the past decade to such places as the Grand Canyon, Alaska, the Canadian Rockies and Northern Italy.
Craig loved being with his friends, especially at Manna Café and Bakery. He appreciated its
great food, wonderful staff and sense of community. As a younger man, he had fond memories of time spent at The Joint in Eau Claire, WI.
He was loved and supported by his wife Shirley Krsinich, his friend Neil Halverson, his "care partner in crime", and for the past two years by the outstanding caregivers at Badger Prairie Health Care Center and Heartland Hospice. He and Shirley want to thank all of his doctors, especially Dr. Bradley Boeve, who runs the Lewy Body dementia study at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN and Drs. Michael Siebers, Gerald Pankratz, and Art Walaszek in Madison for their help, their kindness and respect. They would especially like to thank the Alzheimer's & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin for their expertise, support groups and dementia education, especially in explaining young onset dementia and ways to best live with it.
