Anna Carle

Anna M. (Boyd) Carle formerly of Keokuk, Iowa, died Sunday, July 24, 2005 at Barry Community Care Center in Barry, Illinois. Mrs. Carle was born on March 25, 1923 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Alfred H. and Alice Kline Boyd. She lived in Keokuk, Iowa for many years and worked at Sheller Globe for 10 years, retiring in 1985. She moved to Illinois with her daughter in 2001. She was a member of United Steel Workers of America Local No. 444 of Keokuk, Iowa, Ladies Auxiliary of Eagles, a past member of the Moose Club of Kahoka, Missouri, on the Iowa Election Board, and a volunteer at Keokuk Area Hospital for many years. She is survived by one daughter, Roxanna Ruschill and her husband Marvin of New Salem, Illinois, Five Grandchildren: Rodney Carle and wife Judy of New Salem, Illinois, Randy Carle of Kinderhook, Illinois, Carla Erke and her husband Jim of New Canton, Illinois, Terry Sutton of Griggsville, Illinois, Rhonda Ruschill of New Salem, Illinois Eight great grandchildren, five great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
