ine shed and a hog house.
He was a member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Joseph enjoyed fishing and the many trips he and Lorraine took through the years. An avid reader; westerns were some of his favorites. Lorraine always appreciated the help she received around the house after he had worked all day on the farm; always doing the dishes after supper while she tended to the kids. There was never a doubt how happy he was when the grandkids were around; he lit up instantly. He loved his grandkids, and always smiled from ear to ear when they were around.
Joseph is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lorraine; children, Larry Vogl, Dennis (Kathy) Vogl, Sharon (Steve) Paul, Kenneth (Mardell) Vogl, Barbara Vogl, Linda (Kent) Schmitt, Charles Vogl, and Diane (Marve) Eblen; 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Betty Danner, John (Adella) Vogl, Earl (Laurel) Vogl, Dorothy (Pete) Danner, Mary Ann (Norbert) Kasperbauer, and Levan Eich; brothers and sisters-in-law, Sister Marcella Steffes, Frank Mader, Roman (Arlene) Steffes, LaVerne Steffes, Norma (Fred) Gosch, Robert (Rache) Steffes, Arlene (Melvin) Meier, Marian Pickhinke and Carol (Don) Mader; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth Vogl; brothers and sister-in-law, LeRoy (Barbara) Vogl; brothers-in-law, Leo Danner and Mike Eich; sister-in-law, Doris Mader and Barbara Steffes; and parents-in-law, John and Anna Steffes.
